 Accompanying "The
Demons of Red Lodge and Other Stories", the
release in December 2010, was the annual 'Subscriber
Special', titled "The Four Doctors".
This eagerly awaited special release unites the
Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth
Doctor in a time-bending
battle against the Daleks.
This story,
which is written by Peter Anghelides, and directed
by Nicholas Briggs and Ken Bentley, stars Peter
Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann
and Nicholas Briggs. Also starring are: Ellie
Burrow, David Bamber, Nigel Lambert and Alex
Maiunson.
This special
story also includes a stunning commemorative
16-page booklet.
It
has also been announced that, in a departure
to previous years, Big Finish Productions have
no plans to subsequently make this story available
for sale. "The Four Doctors" will therefore
only ever be available to subscribers.

Writer's Notes:
An
invitation to write a Doctor Who audio is
always a pleasure. The chance to create a script
that features four Doctors...? And the Daleks!
Well, that was utterly irresistible.
What
an honour to join the list of names who have
written multi-Doctor stories. Terrance Dicks,
Robert Holmes... er... Terrance Dicks. Plus Nicholas
Briggs, of course, whose story The Sirens of Time launched the
Big Finish range over a decade ago. Nick has
made several key contributions to my story here,
too.
Originally,
I had the foolish notion that this story
would be released as Reverse Engineering.
The thing is that, like students in a bedsit, Doctor
Who fans abhor a vacuum, and there
was an obvious gap to fill in this sequence: The
Two Doctors, The
Three Doctors, The
Five Doctors.
So
I am delighted to present to you, for the
very first time, The Four Doctors.
