Doctor Who Prom 2010

Doctor Who Prom 2010
The BBC has announced that an hour-long broadcast of this year’s Doctor Who Prom concert will be screened on BBC Three on Monday the 6th September (with a repeat showing at 2:45am on the 7th September).

An extended 90 minute version will also be on BBC Three on Friday the 10th September.

Plus the BBC has revealed that during that week there will be extra material available on Red Button and online including exclusive moments from the event and behind the scenes footage featuring monsters, Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill.

Of particular interest is Backstage at the Doctor Who Prom, a must-see programme available through the BBC's Red Button service. This 25-minute special gives an access-all-areas view of the concert and includes all three stars at all the nerve-tingling moments as they prepare to go on stage and be greeted by the packed audience at the Royal Albert Hall. They also discuss what the concert means to them personally and Matt reveals why the live event is so close to his heart.

The BBC has also promised some great footage of the monsters backstage which shows that Silurians get stage fright, too! Plus, there's exclusive musical content and the thoughts of composer Murray Gold and Lead Writer and Executive Producer, Steven Moffat.
